Greek islands sailing departures

Why should we start the sailing trip from Paros?

Many travelers dream of whitewashed villages, blue-domed churches, secluded beaches, crystal waters and Cycladic cuisine. Starting in Paros puts you right in the middle of this experience.

From Paros (alternatively Mykonos), you are only a few hours from islands such as Syros, Tinos, Mykonos, Sifnos, Milos, Serifos, Santorini and Folegandros.

The result is a perfect mix of iconic islands and quieter fishing harbors, adapted to your interests, trip duration and weather conditions.

Our recommendation

Because Paros sits in the middle of the Cyclades, it is often the best launch point for a richer and more flexible itinerary than routes starting farther away.

  • A beautiful island to enjoy before/after your charter
  • Simple logistics: Athens connection by flight or ferry
  • Excellent ferry hub to other Cyclades islands
  • Short average daily sailing legs around 3-4 hours

Sounds wonderful, but how do we get to Paros?

a) Most guests arrive at Athens International Airport

  • By flight: about 40 minutes Athens to Paros (multiple daily options).
  • By ferry: around 3-4 hours from Rafina or Piraeus depending on schedule.

If needed, we can guide you on practical transfer options between airport, ports and ferry terminals.

b) Coming from Mykonos, Santorini, Crete or Rhodes

There are regular ferry connections to Paros from most Cyclades islands and several major Greek destinations.

Sometimes guests also arrive via international flights to Mykonos, then take a short ferry connection to Paros.

If possible, arriving in Paros a couple of days before embarkation is a great way to enjoy the island before setting sail.
