Availability checks, booking confirmation, payment options and cancellation details in one place.

Follow the steps below and secure your sailing holiday smoothly and transparently.

1) Availability and steps in booking a sail boat

Pick your travel period, check availability, and confirm your dates with a simple step-by-step process.

Step 2

Check availability. Contact us by email or by phone to check if your preferred dates are available.

Please feel free to ask us questions about the sailing holiday and the aspects of the trip that are important to you.

Step 3

In less than 24 hours we reply with details and availability for your requested dates.

If the boat is already booked, we can suggest the closest period available.

Step 4

Once you confirm you want to proceed, we place a complimentary hold on your intended dates and forward the charter contract.

This temporary hold is usually valid for a few days, giving you time to review the contract and organize travel arrangements.

To confirm the booking, the initial payment is usually 50% or 35% of the charter rate.

Up to this point there are no obligations. If your plans change, you can simply skip the deposit and the hold expires.

Step 5

After we receive the initial payment, we forward the payment confirmation plus useful pre-arrival information.

You also receive guidance about what to bring, where to find the boat, and practical details before embarkation.

DONE - your yacht is booked. Congratulations!

2) Payment

Initial payment

An initial payment of 50% (or 35%) of the charter amount is required within the next days to confirm your booking.

Payment can be made by:

Bank Transfer PayPal MyPOS

Final payment

The remaining balance can be paid any time that is convenient, at least 30 office days before the sail date.

3) PayPal Payments

PayPal payment note

For PayPal online payments, the system charges approximately 4-5.5% transfer fee that must be covered by the charterer.

After payment completion, we forward transaction details so you can verify the fee charged.

You can check fee information at PayPal merchant fees.

How to complete it

  • Click PayNow to open the SailTime Charters merchant page.
  • Enter the payment amount in the "Price per Item" field and continue.
  • If you have no PayPal account, create one and use Pay Now.
  • If you already have an account, log in and complete the payment.

4) MyPOS Credit Card Payments

Card payment option

If you would like to pay with credit card, let us know and we will send a payment request by email.

Accepted cards include VISA, MasterCard and JCB through MyPOS.

MyPOS transfer fee

For MyPOS online card payments, the transfer fee charged by MyPOS (according to issuing country) is covered by the charterer.

After processing, we forward transaction details so you can see the exact fee.

5) Cancellation / date change

Cancellation requests

If you need to cancel your booking or change dates, please contact us by email as soon as possible.

Cancellation fees are based on the period between cancellation date and departure date.

Date changes

Any change of dates is treated as a cancellation and subject to the same charges, because the original dates are blocked for other groups.
